    I have, yes. After a quick search, the CPU even seems capable of running Windows 10 (supports NX bit). I agree that with 1GB of RAM things will be tight, but it won't cost much to upgrade the memory.

    Forget about it. Running in theory and in practice are entirely different things and talking about spending more on RAM and batteries is just mad.
    Better to have purchased a decent machine £40 to £60 in the first place.

    I agree - but if the budget is a problem, I'd sooner spend a few quid on eBay than buying another laptop. This is a money saving orientated website, after all. :beer:

    Perhaps you missed it, but he has bought another laptop. The one that we are discussing...for £40. He will try to return it for a refund and to buy a suitable one in it's place.
    I wouldn't spend anything more on it.
