I have my pennies savings in a separate account. I find it helps to have different bank accounts for different purposes.

Morning, well finally it has stopped raining here..Hoping for some sunshine today as I have tons of washing that I would like to get washed and dried..Really try hard to never use my tumble dryer ( old habits die hard:rotfl:) But will see I suppose what the day brings.

So have been paid overnight for all the sales on the bay so my new total is 9% of first debt which is fab:j. I have moved it all into a separate account ( thanks Datlex) and will keep chipping away until it is all there. I am hoping by Christmas, as thats when the payments start so the outgoings increase :eek:
I always am amazed at how a little time and effort and stuff you have lying around can make you a few pennies..did it before and did really well but lost my mojo after a few problems with buyers that turned into more drama than the sales I was making so gave up. But determined now that will start this again as 1. Helps with debt busting and 2. Clears the clutter.
I keep saying I will do a car boot, but I never seem to get round to it and tbh standing around in a field in all weathers does not get me excited..lol. So will go the long haul with the bay..
Had another NSD yesterday so thats good,and possibly hoping for another today.
Anyway off now to catch up on some diaries before the household get up and need me..

Wow not sure whats going on, but I cant sleep :eek:.. So here I am reading another few diaries and updating my own. First cuppa of the day already consumed, really must get in the habit of water first thing ..lol
And so yesterday was a very good day.OH had an unplanned day off, so not one to waste an opportunity wrote[STRIKE] him [/STRIKE]a HUGE list of all the things I was going to achieve today.. ( for those of you that know there are only 24 hours in a day would know it would be impossible to achieve all of it on my own;))
Anyways got 3/4 of the way through the list without being [STRIKE]nagged[/STRIKE] asked, infact was just working through the list and striking them off as completed so I just got on with all the other jobs I had to do, and by the end of the day although knackered there was tons done.So very happy with that .
Also had another NSD, dinner was from the freezer and DD had a fab day at nursery..Posted all my bay items so all posted and unto date. So will be chasing up for confirmation of delivery, once all done I will start my next batch..I try to keep on top of postings as really hate all the POP lying around and had such drama last time, that I just make sure everyones happy..
Also spoke with OH about debt, he seems about 60/70 % on board, which is great ( loads more than last time) so will work on him to get him fully on board. He is all for trying to get the best rate for mortgage end of next year when it finishes so need to use that as his carrot

Paid another £100 to family member debt today too ( was paid by someone who owes us and we paid it straight out again) so that was an unexpected bonus..but its another £100 off that debt so that makes me very happy, and bit gone.Shame we are not owed out there the same as the debt we owe..how easy would that be to clear ha ha but then would we have learnt our lesson --not really sure.
Busy day today, need to tackle the mess that is our kitchen which will take the day, doing the cupboards inside and out etc..a planned spend day today too so not very MSE but once done, there should be a few more NSD's this week. I will try to make the rest of the week NSD but not sure if that is truly doable - I can dream.
Waffled enough now, so off to do some more reading X

so i have not been on for a couple of days, its been crazy busy at the moment..but back now. Heres a little update of whats been going on.

had another few NSD's the tail end of last week, and had a spendy day yesterday ( was old mother hubbard):p but that should be it for next few days. Got some post over the weekend and it appears I have mis calculated one of the debts to the tune of just over £500 in my favour :j. You may have seen me do a happy dance when I read that :rotfl: I had not worked the interest properly and there was more coming off the debt that I thought so that means that the overall debt is £500 lower than I thought.I must admit I did a little praying and asked for the next few postal deliveries to come with the same news on others sadly not the case and I am bang on with the others. But hey I just love unexpected news like that.
It also means that since I restarted this long journey I have paid off nearly £1k in overpayments which is fantastic..
Plan for the rest of this week, is to list some more on the bay, get a plan for my weight loss journey..busy busy..:)

Welcome to Friday dear diary..I am not sure where the week has gone to, but we are here. So except for 1 day ( weekly shop) I have managed to have all NSD's :j. No popping to the shops, no eating out, no treat buying for DD..and have even done the school run by foot for 2 days ( weather was awful other times)..I really am trying to cover all bases, not spend, use up what we have already and step up the exercise. was checking my steps and was doing over 10k which is great, but keep forgetting to put it on. I have not worn a watch in ages and so am not used to wearing anything on my wrist - but next week is a new week so will really try and remember..
Things that I really need to focus on are listing on the bay, its all very well not spending but de cluttering whilst making some pennies is where the difference will be - I am toying with the idea ( if the weather permits) doing a car boot on Sunday may aswell as this could be the last one before the weather turns. However not sure what to put everything on. When i did them before I had a pasting table that I used to put things on, hang etc..but I don't have that, don't have a load of plastic tubs ( which one of my friends suggested) so not sure how I would show everything off..so if I can get my head round how to..and the weather is good I may very well do a car boot. I have so much stuff if I sold it all for a £1 each i reckon i could clear all my debt, and probably the mortgage..lol:rotfl: well not really but you get what I mean there is a lot..ha ha.
Anyway off now for a coffee and some diary reads before everyones up..

It's worth putting a FB post out to close by friends - someone might well have a picnic/wallpapering table you could borrow for a day

Well done on both the good news and the progress so far!

I'm not a carbooter myself, the honest answer is I just simply don't have the time! Too much stuff on at weekends with working full time and the odd saturday at the moment so I can't face giving up at least a half day to carboot LOL Thank goodness for FB selling groups!

Oh good idea Mrs T..yes I do FB and the bay usually, but my friend wants to do a CB - and so I thought why not? But now I am almost on the day - I am like what do I lay everything on. My friend has everything in order ready to go ( done a few before) but I refuse to spend money just to make some money if that makes sense?

So going with some tarp ( found in garage) and empty out some plastic toy storage and make the best of it..lol. Thats ofcouse unless it is raining then I will be safely at home..

Good day yesterday, sadly not an NSD but out all day with DD, cycling and enjoying the weather:o and spent less than £6..so I think its a good day and she was happy ( got herself an ice cream for being so well behaved).:rotfl:

And so here we are in another week..cant believe its going so quickly..quick update before school run.
Did a car boot on Sunday, sold a bit :j so have added another 2% to the totals and the remainder I am using to purchase some Christmas Presents.
Maybe wrong, but I think I will need to buy bits anyway so will may aswell get them while all the deals are on and I have money I did not have this time last week.
Outside of that another load of NSD's although want be soon, and need to buy some fruit, milk etc..but still feeling like I am chipping away. Its slow but it is in the right direction. So I need to focus on that rather than its not going down fast enough..:rotfl: which is my usual approach..

So updated my signature this morning, as I have come into 2017 really motivated. It was there in 2016 when i reappeared with this diary, but faded like an old candle..but the light came back brighter than ever and that has meant that I have a diary, with every last penny listed for who, when where etc..I do believe I have OH on board too which is a first..maybe the years of nagging are finally paying off..lol.
It has also brought with it the first debt of the year cleared off , and a payment to the 2nd..which I am determined will be gone by mid Feb as in March the interest free bit finishes..
