So it looks like the little overpayments do affect my natwest loan. I am expecting a copy of my loan agreement but today got a letter about my first overpayment (£5). Basically they add it to my monthly payment and make a partial repayment charge.
Normal payment = 148.71
Extra payment = £5
Partial repayment charge = £5.08
Partial repayment gross amount = £153.71
Partial repayment net amount = £148.63
Final date = July 2021
Final payment = £102.36
Now I need to see what they £20.55 OP will do to the loan. Still think it's best to add the extra to the initial monthly payment, will after the first time I've done it.Student nurse 2018 to 2020

So finally an update
I have just started a DMP with Payplan which includes my loan + overdraft + 2 catelogues. I am still continuing to pay my credit union loan via my wage as well as my credit cards which will all be paid off by the summer.Student nurse 2018 to 2020
