Ideas for Investments and Savings for 50+

Hello All

I would really be grateful for advice and ideas,

I have around 60k to invest/savings and really would like to know how to make the most of it. Be grateful for your suggestions on investment ideas and saving for over 50s.

A bit of background, I am unemployed and do not own a property. I am also caring for an elderly mum who has Alzheimers disease.

Your post would probably be better off in the dedicated 'savings and investments' board http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=17 where there are plenty of helpful people there. They might need more info from you in order to give you what you are asking for.
