Add this LG fund to my VLS-- is it worth it?

I am thinking of adding a LG multi index fund to my VLS 60 inside my S&S ISA.
The LG fund has a bit of property which the VLS does not.
Are they to similar to be worth it? and better just adding money to the VLS 60. I know also there would be LG fund charges to add, but not platform charges? as my ISA is with charles stanley.
Would the LG multi index 7 be about the same risk as the VLS 60 or which of the others is?

You can go into trustnet and see the breakdown of the relevant funds.
They are pretty similar, as are black rock consensus, but it can be an interesting academic exercise to compare their relevant performance, also if you have larger sums then it can be prudent to not go with one supplier.
Platform charges on csd will be the same, should be 0,25% on all funds, multi index is more costly than lifestrategy because it incoudes property and is supposedly more actively managed, whether this is better or worse depends on your opinion.
Multi index 7 would be higher risk than ls60 I wouldn't have thought, trustnet or Morningstar will hold volatility and risk ratings to show some comparison, I'd have though maybe a 5 would be better.0 -
I would get a specific property fund instead, in whatever proportion you think is best. There is a black rock global one with fairly low charges from what I recall and also possibly some ETFs ?0

Agree with AnotherJoe - if you want property, buy a property fund.0

Thanks for the replies.
I will need to study things a bit more it seems, as i am not clued up enough just to pick out a single property fund.:T0 -

The point about the blackRock one is, its global. Same as the V60. So if the v60 is attractive to you so should be any global property fund, and there aren't that many.0 -
Property ETF should do the trick, IUKD or IWDP, check them out on trust etc as well. fj0

Schroeder have a global property fund which is doing fairly well0
