Hello,
Can anyone recommend a spray or something to spray on my smelly Nefoundland pup? She is 5.5mths old and she stinks
. i have washed her a couple of times and I have also used a dry wash foam on her, but she is still pongy!!
Any advice

a fully on going bath once a weekj, not just a wash.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

I'm not sure what you mean; Isn't a wash the same as a bath? Although I actually can't get her up the stairs and in the bath anymore - she is too heavy :eek: I am going to have to start washing her outside with the hose

What are you feeding her?
Unless her diet is awful or she spends her days rolling around or other crap there's no reason why she should stink.Sigless0 -
Our terrier rolls in fox pee a lot, the tigi stuff is really good at getting the smell out her coat0

What sort of smell is it? Is it just the the usual 'doggy' odour?
If so, and assuming there's no health issue, it's probably just the natural oils/grease in her coat. Newfies have a lot of it to keep their coats waterproof, given their history of working in water. Their coats are also extremely dense. Bathing will help but it will quickly return. It's also quite a task to bath and dry a full grown Newfie!0 -
Would you consider raw feeding her? A natural diet can do wonders for pongy pets.0

Why is she smelly?
Is the smell definitely coming from her coat and not her her ears or her teeth?
Is her skin okay?
Are you drying her properly aferr you wash her?0
