If its the start to mid october you'll catch the tale end of the season in the likes of Cyprus, though any of the Canary Islands would be good and they dont close up for the winter at any point.
We did Lanzarote over the new year last year, and this year we're for Tenerife over christmas.
Jet2 and Easyjet fly to Lanzarote direct if you want to book it all yourself, or Thomson & Thomas Cook (among others) for package holidays.0 -

Didnt know that. Thats v interesting.
Prices for Easyjet & Jet2 have been expensive so far, so it will be interesting to see what impact Ryanair have on pricing.0 -
Spanish Costas and Algarve are both very pleasant until at least mid October.0

Cape Verde is worth a shout if you're prepared to go via London. Warmer than the Canary Islands and the trade winds will have died down in October.
How much do you want to pay?0 -
Check the Ryanair flights to the canaries from Dublin.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0

I have been looking at Easyjet prices to L'Rote and they have already eased a little for the winter:T

If you're not after a sunshine holiday, Poland would be good.
Easyjet fly there for not a big hill of beans and prices are cheap when you get there.
We got a 4* apartment in the city centre for £60 a night.
Going there in a fortnight0 -
