I'm trying to have a better day today. This is the plan:

B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, baked beans
    L: LO hash with veg
D: gammon slices, cabbage, runner beans, carrots and something with potatoes
    Syns: half crunchie at football

I think I might make boulangere potatoes for a change. I fancy a change and they are less synful than my favourite dauphinoise.;)

Only have a couple of weeks left on holiday and will then get straight back on plan! Not easy to stick to plan when there is french sticks and lovely cheeses around. Not to mention the wine.

Not had a chance to read everything but did see that LL had reached 5 st off - congratulations. Also congrars to all the sotw there have been since I last managed to post.

Totally off topic sorry but do any of you have any tips for getting a cat in a carrier??? Blood has been shed - all mine - but she seems to have the ability to turn herself inside out even when wrapped in a towel. I can catch her easily but not hang on to her when 10 claws plus teeth are latching on.I'm searching ebay for a RSPCA catching pole (joking, just)!

Probably a bit late now but two of mine hate the carrier as well... I usually stand the carrier on its end with the door facing upwards, then pick them up, hold the back legs together and kind of drop them in which seems to work. The third cat loves it and walks in and sits down as soon as I put it on the floor but he is a bit special!!

  • Hi everyone

Weigh day for me today and I'm super duper chuffed to announce a 5lb loss - my biggest since starting SW :j I can only assume my body's gone into shock by not having to digest 10 portions of bread a day :D but I'm not complaining. Hopefully I can keep it up and lose the last 2lbs next week to put me back on an even keel again. Once that's done I'm thinking it'll only be 10lbs till I can say I'm at target, but we'll see.

Hope everyone's having a good day
    xx

  • Well done candyapple, that's amazing!

    Food for today -

Lunch - tuna salad (cucumber, peppers, onions and mixed leaf salad).
Dinner - cottage pie with veg (2 syns-ish for the gravy), broccoli, carrots peas and runner beans.
Snacks - toffee muller light, 2 hi fi light bars (hex b).
Half milk in cups of tea and 1 cheesestring for hexa.

Straight back to plan! No messing around. I measured around my legs and waist earlier and I've gained inches so that saddened me!
  • Well done candyapple
