Problem with amazon return

    Not sure this is correct. Like another reply, I returned a non working item and was sent a refund as soon as it was posted (not even received at their returns centre) - last week. I was quite surprised as in the past when I've returned items (not done it for a while), I waited until Amazon received it. If anything I'd say Amazon have speeded up refunds.

    That is the usual process for buyers who have no 'flags' on their account.

    I had a very similar experience a couple of weeks ago - dropped off the parcel at the collect plus shop, by the time I got home I had an email from Amazon that my refund was being processed. Money was back in my a/c within 24 hours.

    Exactly - and which appears to be the case for most of us on here.
