I am leaving Virgin Media after their price hike, but I only want broadband, can you get broadband only from BT. Can't find it on their website......

Notice you didn`t post any links.
TT line rental can be paid upfront so it works out at £15 a month.
Plusnet offer free BB but slow the traffic at peak times so it`s not really unlimited.
Quite a few complaints on these boards about Plusnet`s "free" BB.

There do not appear to be many talktalk fans on here.
At least I did not post a link claiming something was £3.75 when infact it was nearer £19 to £21 and not actually what the OP asked for!
If you want a link here is one.

Will give you the deals. I notice Sky and TalkTalk do free BB. Sky having slightly cheaper LR and better customer service.
Personally I would avoid BT and SSE0 -
Want to get rid of my landline, as I use my mobile. So you have to pay for a landline even if you do not require it0

I get Virgin bb through a cable0

Virgin is the only exception. You get it thru their cable. Not openreaches.0

Could still be described as a landline .
Confusion is those that insist on saying a phone line . Its a data line either VM cable BT OR Fibre or the Old BT copper cable and that's where landline charges come in .
You can of course use your mobile for this data as opposed to a landline .0 -
You're right, my phone comes in through the cable as well......:j0
