I recently discovered this item, and thought it might be worth mentioning to my son who has yet to go on-line in his new house. Has anyone got one and what is your opinion please.

I think speeds would be very signal dependant so knowing what the signal in his area is like for 3 would be a good start, They seem to tie into a 2 year contract as well and the modems are not available till next month.
I would try and find out what the signal on the network is like in his area but going for it as it could be problematic if you pay good money for a service that you cannot truly use to it's full potential because the signal in your area is poor.
