Avis and car hire "Brexit tax"

Avis have been caught trying to charge a British customer in France, a "brexit charge".
Unluckily for Avis, the customer is a Professor and member of the House of Lords who challenged the charge and got it waived.
Apparently, its a glitch in the system and is nothing to do with Brexit and nothing to do with trying to rip customers off. So just be aware of this if renting over the summer break.
Interesting, I wonder if Avis are programing their rental system to start charging British customers more by default once the Brexit has actually happened? We know Disneyland Paris got caught out charging more for UK customer in the past, as did Centerparcs and Eurotunnel previously.

Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.
