Why do so few drivers indicate these days?

I did once go out in a car with someone who used her right foot for the go pedal and her left for the stop one.
It's a very difficult skill to master for those who were brought up on 3-pedal manual boxes, but they are becoming an increasingly rare breed these days.Philip0 -

Quite a skill - which needs careful training/teaching, and even more careful practice to get it right, as most folks are used to a complete push down all the way to the floor with their 'clutch' foot.
But many people use left foot braking on 3-pedal manual box cars too.
Three legs would be handy sometimes.0 -
Somthing else I have noticed that is odd is how some cars brake lights come on and then they increase in speed whislt the brake lights are on.
I think some people just hate brake pads.
I sometimes hold the brake pedal down slightly with my left foot if i've got someone tailgating me (almost always a van), just do it enough to light up the brake lights and then I accelerate away with the brake lights on.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

I've noticed it over the years but it does seem to becoming more common place now.
The only time I don't indicate is when I'm the only road user around (i.e. clear view with no visible obstructions/over-taking motorcyclist etc). It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -

That's very dangerous. Your as bad as the person your trying to scare by doing it in the first place0 -
I never do left foot braking. I have one auto car and two manual and swap all the time between them. My left foot is definitely educated for clutch use only (at least when driving).0

But I suspect that as as manual gearboxes become increasingly rare, using your right foot on the Go pedal and your left foot on the Stop pedal will become the norm.
That's until we all stop doing the driving and let the cars do it for us :-(Philip0 -
Same in Telford ..So much so I wish the council would fund information signs on some roundabouts saying please signal ...So frustrating ..Be glad when driving is automated0
