Appeal for parking in my own space

Hi
I think this is quite a rare case.
Nothing on Google seems to relate and Im very interested to see if anyone else has heard of this before.
I rent a property that has an allocated parking bay and someone has reported my car for being parked in that bay without permission.
The private area that i am renting in does not have a ticket/gate/permits etc it is purely designated bays for each address that have numbers painted on the ground.
I appealed this informally with the parking company and they have refused my appeal as my evidence of the tenancy agreement was not strong enough.
I do not have anything else in my tenancy regarding the parking space that I can use right now but I am looking into this.
Is there such cases that have been lost in court does anyone know?
Kind regards

So what proof of tenancy did you provide them with? Presumably you are still using the allocated parking space?"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

As rare as rain at Wimbledon

Hold on - what address are the PPC sending their correspondence to??
If it's the address to which the parking space in question is allocated, surely the PPC should realise they may not have a strong case?"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0 -
I am currently dealing with exactly the same thing and not really having much luck. But I shall keep fighting against it. It seems crazy that even in your own bloody bay you aren't safe from Parking Attendants these days.0

I provided them with proof I have a rental agreement on the property. I have gathered more evidence; email from estate agents confirming the allocated space is part of the tenancy, land registry of the residential plots confirming the parking bay is allocated to the apartment number, photos of the parking bay and front door that match up.
Yes I am still using the space and intend to until the end of my tenancy.
It is very hard to write a defence for this, I am struggling because it is very obvious to me that I should not be fined as this is my space.
Any help is appreciated.0 -
Who is the PPC and what was the approximate date of the parking event?0

You MUST update the log book urgently or the DVLA can and do, issue real fines for that omission.viginia500 wrote: »It is very hard to write a defence for this, I am struggling because it is very obvious to me that I should not be fined as this is my space.

You aren't writing a defence, you are not at court claim stage. You presumably either have a POPLA code or have been 'offered' the kangaroo court version (IAS) depending on which PPC? Who is the parking firm?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes I have had the chance to appeal direct to the company which was declined and now I am in the process of writing my appeal to the independent Appeals Service.
The parking ticket was issued just under a month ago and the parking ticket is New Generation Parking Management Ltd.
Thanks everyone0 -
IAS is not recommended, did you miss the NEWBIES thread post #3? It is considered a kangaroo court. I can count on one hand the cases we know have won at IAS and a loss there buoys the parking firm, makes your case seem weaker when you lose and get hassled. Not good!
Read the NEWBIES thread post #3. Not many posters will say 'try IAS'.
Is this NGPM in Wales? If so, join the Action Group started by Derek Donovan:

I have read through the Newbie thread and to be honest all the information is very overwhelming.
I have also read contradicting information about appealing with IAS, some people say do it and some say just wait for court.
This has left me more confused than I was before posting my thread.
The parking company is not in Wales. I understand that I cannot use POPLA because New generation parking management ltd are under different membership "scamming" rules.
So what other choices do I have, I need to wait for court to appeal or don't use IAS and just pay the £100?0
