Went to see a mortgage advisor. Was told that I have a black mark against my name, so can't offer mortgate unless i have 35% deposit.
Black mark is Tmobile (scumbags) so if I pay this will it remove it?
If not, then my life is basically !!!!ed because Tmobile tried to shaft me.
Edit : I spoke with Tmobile and they said it will be marked as paid, my mortgage guy said they could clear it.

I stupidly cancelled a direct debit from Tmobile in 2011 after telling then 3 months to cancel my rolling contract and they failing to do so. So I spoke to my mortgage guy and he stated there was a mark against my score for defaulted payment.0 -
If you pay it, it will be marked as settled, which is better than defaulted and unsettled.0

It would be a 5 year old default. Some lenders ignore defaults from mobile phone companies. Who is the lender?
You would be better off speaking to a broker as they will know what lenders would suit your situation.I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards.
