Hello
Can anyone help - I bought a wooden table which has a sellotape type mark left with sticky residue on it (hence getting the table cheaper) but I've tried few things to try get this sticky residue off but no success?
Tried vinegar, wd40, hot soapy water and think this mark looks worse now!
Anyone have any recommendations I could try?

I think vegetable oil is supposed to work. Dab a little on and leave it for about 5 minutes then the sticky tape marks should wipe off. Have you got an unobtrusive bit to try it on first (underneath the table maybe)?0

I know it sounds daft but toothpaste can do a good job as it's a gentle scourer0

Have you tried a slightly damp microfiber cloth - just water and elbow grease, no chemicals. Worked for me cleaning tape residue off a fridge and microwave.0
