Parking Charge Notice - Iceland - Excel Parking Services

I parked in a Pay & Display Iceland Foods store in Harrow last month and received a Parking Charge Notice through the post a few days back from Excel Parking services as they'd captured my Reg Details using the ANPR camera.
I sent an appeal to them but am awaiting a reply, whilst doing so I also yesterday posted on Iceland's facebook page about the fine and today got a response from them that they will cancel the fine on this occasion so am very pleased with this. Their team were very prompt in replying to my original comment on Facebook and then after a few PMs I got confirmation from them that they will cancel the charge so my advice is try and contact the retailer on Facebook, it can work.

    Well done, take a screen shot of their reply for your records, just in case Excel think they know better.

    This proves once again that retailers are waking up to losing customers and indeed the scammers they employ in their car parks

    May I ask what reason you gave? I got a notice yesterday and tried the same thing but did not work :(
