Thanks both

Yeah, it is a relief to finally have the mortgage offer. Hoping that the housing association come back to me today to say they are happy with the offer, then i can go to the solicitors tonight with all my paperwork
Also spoke to the seller yesterday who's keen for a completion date of 30/09. Hoping the searches come back and the solicitors turn around their bit pretty quickly. Do you think this date is plausible?0 -
Mortgage offer now approved by the HA. Had a HUGE letter come through on Saturday from the solicitors with the contract, mortgage and transfer deeds in to sign, along with the lease and other information from the seller. There was also a copy of a land registry document and a letter sent to the solicitors with some enquiries, one of which mentions water drainage. I assume this means the searches have all come back, in record time if they have.
I'm guessing all that's left is to do a final check once all the enquiries come back, set a completion date, then start buying things

Now we've been told we need to get ATP from Help2Buy but I thought we already had that before we applied for the mortgage.
Losing faith.
I am currently going through the mortgage process through a broker on the Help2Buy scheme. We were also told we had to get the ATP during the mortgage process. Still waiting on an offer though. No patience to wait!:jFinally going to be a homeowner:T0 -
I was told the ATP had to be received before you applied for the mortgage, our broker didn't do it that way.
The ATP only took 24 hours to receive so I can't complain at that!0
