Definitely there`s a TV prog in the manner of a fly on the wall half hour thing like they have had with traffic wardens and High Court bailiffs ! It would be entertaining seeing the expressions of the people fiddling the meters and coming up with daft excuses when I start knocking wanting to see the meters! I think I`ll pitch it to Channel 4 lol.. I m plenty old enough to remember Confessions of a Window Cleaner..those crap films were massive in the 1970 s with Robin Asquith ...last seen on "Benidorm" still doing the same type of character0 -

Actually I think they have already done a fly on the wall about folk with dodgy meters. I can remember watching it and some BG bloke printing a bill off there and then to either pay up straight away or face a pre pay meter.0

You are right, a few years ago BBC "Look North " did a prog following around British Gas Revenue Protection Unit on their rounds. They even gave a few tips on how to fiddle the gas meter. They showed that when someone was caught , a fast food place, who had nicked 6ks estimate of gas that they don`t even get a slap on the wrist but receive a catch-up bill there and then.. No question of a visit to a Magistrates Court....That is not the way to stop theft IMHO0 -
