Last Minute.com - no mention of connecting flight

Hi,
I have booked a holiday to Vegas through the last minute.com website on the 31st of August for a week. I've had two issues:
1) I had an email off them this week indicating that the tour operator has gone bankrupt and my hotel in Vegas is therefore not available. They have suggested an alternative which we have agreed to accept given the late notice. Whilst this is not as good as the original they are saying it comes out slightly more expensive but are willing to foot the bill. Therefore, on balance, this appears to be reasonable but is quite stressful when it's one week before we go away.
2) The second issue is more of a concern to us as we have just realised that we are actually on a connecting/non-direct flight despite the original booking confirmation not making any mention of this. Surely this is mid-selling? Do I have any rights to fight this and if so how should I go about it?
I've asked for a supervisor to call me from last minute.com but I still have not had a call from them.
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks

Has there been a scedule change that you're unaware of? What exactly does your booking confirmation say? It would highly unusual for a company to sell a non-direct flight and make no mention of stop-overs.
Lots of complaints about Lastminute and their sister site Bravofly. Next time Google the company you are buying from before you book.0 -
Hopefully that has worked. You should be able to see that originally there was no mention of any stops but since the issue with the hotel when they have sent revised confirmation it now says 'technical stop' but the flight departure and arrival times are identical so this must have been in place from the start? I have no idea where the stop is or for how long as they have not told me!0

The problem is how they've displayed the information from AA and the airline's practice of using the same flight numbers for domestic and international flights.
If they'd detailed the connection at PHL and different aircraft A321 and A332 then there would've been clarity.
It's not a technical stop.

You'll have a couple of hours in Philadelphia. Check out the Lego liberty bell and Harley shop once you've cleared immigration.0

So you don't think that I have cause for complaint? I thought I was getting a direct flight! Surely they should state something???0
-
Decide what you want from lastminute and ask for it.
Btw Expedia display AA735 as a one stop flight.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
Well ideally a direct flight but that seems unlikely given the timescales so I guess financial recompense for being mis-leading. What do you think?
Still no call back from the supervisor. Jokers!0 -
If your concern is primarily cost then flights will generally be indirect, it normally costs more to fly direct.
It's very easy to look up flights on the Internet, you do need to do some research, by all means make a complaint but I don't think you'll get very far.0 -
Did you do any research before booking?
