Contract to sim only, keep number
Comments
-
My contract is ending, faulty phone turns out faulty sim, so sim gone.
I want to get a sim only deal, and also wish to keep the same number, also with the same network.
Is this possible without the old sim card for serial?
Thank you
Talk to the network
Some will send you a new one free, some will charge you, some will demand for a different network to transfer the number first (PAYG £1 + credit to activate) worth , whilst some will not.

Your contract doesn' t come to an end unless you terminate it. Since you want to keep the number you'll need to do that using a PAC from your existing network; you won't need you old sim.0

No PAC needed, OP says they want to stay with the same network.
@cjdavies
Ring CS, tell them you want to change to sim only at last billing date of handset contract, tell them the sim is faulty and can they send a new one. No network charges for faulty sim replacement.====0
