Being an Old Fashioned thing I use PAYG and top up using a top up card.

Normally when I top up, as soon as the card is swiped I get a text telling me the amount I up have topped up by and what my new balance is.

Today I topped up but received no text. I don't know now (as I didn't check my remaining balance beforehand) if the latest amount has been added to my balance or if something has gone wrong.

Trying to find out who to get through to at Orange is driving me bonkers :mad:. Does anyone know if the procedure has now changed and we are no longer getting text confirmation?

Any replies gratefully received.

I can't help much, but I recently created an account on EE and it tells me when I last topped up.

You could try that.

I thought that you could quickly check your Orange payg balance by dialling 453 (at no charge)

It sounds like the OP topped up without knowing what their credit was or needing to top up.
