Need ideas on how to keep kitchen warm

With the winter approaching, I need some ideas as to how to heat my exceptionally cold kitchen. There is no radiator, and I dont fancy burning mains gas all the time by putting the hob on if its cold, so, I am considering buying an electrical heater or possibly an LPG calor type one, so I am wondering which would be the cheaper option, both to buy and run. I already have a small electric fan heater and an oil radiator, neither of which I have used as I am scared of eating a huge amount of electricity.

CC limits £26000

Long term CC debt £0

Total low rate loan debt £3000

Almost debt free feeling, priceless.

Ex money nightmare, learnt from my mistakes and never going back there again, in control of my finances for the first time in my adult life and it feels amazing.

  • The trundly type gas heaters with a gas bottle inside are effective at heating a room but they also put out an astonishing amount of water vapour which can lead to dampness problems.
