How far are you talking about,

Set off early and walk or borrow a bike for a month.
    Pawn something.

There is always a solution if you really try
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Alice Holt Forest situated some 4 miles south of Farnham forms the most northerly gateway to the South Downs National Park.
  • Its 18 miles each way

So you've done nothing to prepare for your return to work and are moaning that you can't afford your travel. How did you think you'd get there when the time came? I too have other bills to pay but ensure I can afford to get to work or I don't get paid.... simple as!!!

Time to get busy with the Betterware.... or read some of the other suggestions posters have taken the time and trouble to propose.

The OP's been on ESA, not just unemployed!

If I was working and not on ESA (Due to a shoulder injury), I would have to money to pay bill and pay for travel, but I have not been working, so instead of belittling me actually think before you post you arrogant tit

if you really want something you will find a way

    Just Saying...
  • I think you'll find that the OP is a cook at KFC. He's been off sick for some time with his shoulder problems, but wasn't entitled to SSP.

The point I'm making is that by not planning and putting a small amount each week aside he's now in a position where he doesn't have/can't find £14 for his first week's bus fare to get to his place of work. As that's the case there are plenty of options he should consider to permit him to return to work now he's no longer sick - from lifts from colleagues to approaching HR to a loan from family members.
