Hi I'm currently in the process of reviewing/changing our Sky TV package.
We have just one HD box with the variety package. However when I've checked our account it states our package is for Variety, Sky+ HD pack and 2x Sky+ HD. when looking at our bill it says we have 1 x free sky+ subscription and 1 x £10 Sky+ subscription each month.
Am I correct in thinking that if you have a Sky package then the subscription charge is free?
We used to have sky Multiform at our old house (cancelled when we moved) so I'm thinking that they've been charging us an extra £10 a month for a sky box we haven't used in over 3 years!
We're also being charged £44 for the variety package when the current advertised cost is £32.
Has anyone else had this problem? Our account is in hubby's name so I'm gonna get him to call them as soon as he gets home.
thanks

Sky change the packages every so often and wont automatically change it for existing customers. They used to charge extra for HD now its included in the family package (but still an option for movies i think).
You have 2 options.
First you can log in to your Sky account and 'upgrade' to a package of your choice (and probably save some money).
Second you can give notice to cancel and wait for a good deal and save lots of money.
Just allowing your sky subscription to keep going beyond the minimum term is a recipe for burning cash.0
