Many thanks for you help & advice. I have sent a letter by post and email asking for confirmation of the address which the court date was sent to i have enclosed my response requesting for the hearing to be dealt through the court. Fingers crossed!!0

Did you follow the 'note to defendant' instructions there to the letter? It tells you what to do and how to point out if you believe an error has occurred.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi Patrick, my friend is having the same problem with Napier Parking and I wondered if you managed to get a court hearing?0
-
Hi i requested the case to be dealt with in court however i never received a court hearing date. I have since requested confirmation from the courts of which address the court date was sent to.0
-
Have you phoned the court?0
-
I've sent an email and letter 1st class yesterday.0
-
Several posters here have recommended that you PHONE the court - why are you not doing so? (A paper trail is all well and good, but you need to get to the bottom of this urgently).
There's nothing wrong with phoning the court ... we only advise NOT phoning a PPC, their legal people or debt collectors.0 -
To the OP - Was this for you?? or your friend as per the beginning of this thread?0
-
You need to do it by phone, to get an idea of what's going on right now. You want to know that as soon as possible, so that you can start fixing things as soon as possible; you've only got a narrow window to get this CCJ removed without a permanent record, and if the court has screwed up you want to get them to sort it sooner rather than later.
First class letter means they might get it tomorrow, so you probably won't get a reply in the post until maybe Tuesday/Wednesday.
It'll be safe to phone the court; they will be up front with you, and you'll know exactly what's going on in a matter of minutes instead of days. Pop in and visit with copies of your paperwork if you are local enough.0 -
