Complaint from neighbour with mental health issue

It is not your relatives' job to report incidents of hallucinations auditory or otherwise to the council. Technically speaking as this is a medical issue it is none of you relatives' business and the council should not be asking them at all about this. Think of it like this. If the lady had cancer would the council ask you to report if she had any pain?
I don't really understand why the council are involved in this. The people who should be involved are the local mental health team or her doctor.
I would suggest that you just ignore it as there hasn't been any noise incidents.
To get medical help the neighbour needs to be assessed by the local mental health team who are likely to be dealing with this. That assessment doesn't include what the neighbours say about her illness as it is nothing to do with them. Ignore the council.0 -

Presumebly social services are making the request0 -
I don't really understand why the council are involved in this.
Because they've had a complaint about noise, and it's their job to investigate. If the woman's relative can confirm that there isn't really any noise I would have thought that that would be the end of their involvement, I don't think it's the council's job to decide whether the complainant is mentally ill.0 -

1 council, several departments
Environmental team will have handled the noise complaint
Social services will be handling the care needs for the neighbour0 -
Disclose as follows?
"On XX (date), XX council made enquiries following a complaint about noise they had received from a neighbour. After discussion with XX council by telephone it transpired that complaint was unfounded and the complaint was taken no further. We have not noticed any incidents of noise during our time as residents of XX Any Street".
The PIF doesn't ask you to disclose the illnesses of your neighbours, nor should you.student100 hasn't been a student since 2007...0 -

All complaints and disputes must be disclosed.
After it's reported a neighbor has complained about live brass bands at 2am who is going to buy the house unless it's heavily discounted.0 -
So people can make false noise complaints with impunity? The Husband couldn't find another way of getting mental health support besides allowing false reports to be reported.

Well presumably the brass band will go when the OP sells?....0
