Incurring Garage Storage Charge because of 3rd Party Delays

Good point.
The OP doesn't say whether he's paid up front for the gearbox or even if the firm have a physical garage.

If the sale has been carried out online (or even by telephone) then alarm bells should be ringing with the OP.
