Sky broadband speed problems

Anyone else having Sky broadband speed problems
I am based in South Yorkshire, don't know if there are any problems in the area, Sky website say no problems on their network (although I know much of Fife & Dunfermline have had no internet for a few days and it doesn't say anything on their site about that)

This is the best speed I am able to get over the past couple of days

Yep, that's 0.28 Mb/s

Have rebooted router several times - left unplugged for 30 mins
nothing seems to make the speed any better.

Sky just ignore you on their FB page - and the waiting time on the phones is in excess of 50 minutes

What speed do you usually get?

Is that wired or wireless? Can you check what speed your router is connected at by viewing the router manager page?

    Usually around 3.5 to 4.0 Mb/s

Tried wired & wireless on several devices

    Modem Status = Connected
    DownStream Connection Speed = 383
    UpStream Connection Speed = 413

Broadband Link - Downstream - Upstream
    Connection Speed 383 kbps - 413 kbps
    Line Attenuation 53.0 dB - 34.4 dB
    Noise Margin 14.0 dB - 15.15 dB

Therein lies your problem, your connected at a very low rate, something specific to your line.

Are you able to remove the faceplate from your master socket and connect to the test socket?

If the connection speed doesn't change in the test socket, then you need an engineer visit.

If you ring them up they can reset the router.

When it's back to speed avoid turning it off

You likely need an engineer visit.
