    It is not for life, as the codes expire - at least the code they sent me to reactivate my account and get three months free does. After a while they will stop offering codes for three months free if they are abused, or offer codes tagged to single accounts, so only people who get sent the codes can use them.

    Terms and conditions are really clear:

    6.2 The free trial is available only once to any one person and to only one member of a household. Subsequent free trials by the same person at any address, or by another person at the same address, are not permitted.

    So people are in breach of contract and are acting unlawfully.

    They're also acting in exactly the same kind of way that got LoveFees slammed by dozens of MSErs, i.e.:

    For being cheap, venal, opportunistic, and without any kind of moral qualm whatsoever.

    Hopefully when:

    * their debit / credit cards are charged without authorisation;

    * they find they can't terminate their subscription in the way that had been hoped;

    * they belatedly appreciate that LoveFees' link-flogging affiliates are the sleaziest in the UK (and yes: you can judge a company by the company it keeps);

    * they discover the DVDs they returned were either never received within LoveFees' time limit, or never received at all;

    * it dawns on them that their personal details are retained on file by LoveFees indefinitely (as a way of checking that delivery addresses are not used for repeated exploitation of one-time special offers) . . .

    hopefully, they won't be back on any MSE board complaining about the way they've been dealt with by that outfit.

    I received a 90 day free trial by direct mailing this morning. I previously had a free trial ( think it was 3 for 1 ) and when I went to cancel was offered a further 3 for 1. I then did cancel after that as there was nothing left I wanted to see!!!!

    Anyway this free trial is a tempt old customers back one so can't see any issue with it. I've just used it. They even gave me two so I could pass one on to a friend.

    So any friend that would like to use it feel free!

    Its a wonder certain people are still members with their holier than thou attitudes. I thought the whole point of this sight was to make people aware of good offers etc, and yes that does include loopholes. That is my opinion. :D

    I've just done it. Marvellous, I already thanked OP at time of OP, so can't do it again. But it is still working. Yes I've been a member for years on and off. Over the past year I've used one 3 months free code, at cancellation time offered 3 for 1 which I took, cancelled at the end of that. Then offered to return on a 3 for 1 which I took, cancelled (despite offer of 3 for 1), and have now just successfully used the above code.

    For anyone who wants to critise my lack of morals - most of those offers were sent to me or offered to me personally by lovefilm, this being the only exception. And I even paid for one title which I dropped on the way to posting it back, I wonder how many others would have admitted loosing it, rather than claiming it was lost in the post.

    Total cost for 1 years love film. 2 x £14.99 + £10 for lost disc = 39.98 (far better than the cost of the tv license needed just to view the dvds!)

    Question for the experts amoung us. What is the difference between the £12.99 2 disc package and the £14.99 2 disc package? Last time I went for the £14.99 package on the dodgy logic that I was saving more money as it was free, but it was only after realising that I was paying 3 for 1 that I thought I'd be better off with a cheaper package (actually i switched to the 3 discs for £14.99). Anyone know?

    Thanks for that, what a waste, I've never borrowed a game and paid 14.99 for six months (at 3 for 1 - so not so bad really). I'll know from now though.

    Sorry, I don't agree. When people are posting things like setting up new e-mail addresses and even the following:

    If you get desperate - not that I've done it but others have successfully - register with a new address email and completely fake postal address, but don't put any items in your wish list.
    Then change your address and add the items.
    Job done.

    That stinks. It is not a loophole. That is obtaining services by deception.

    And as for punishing companies for hiring incompetent staff, I wonder why you feel yourself as such a moral crusader? Are you sure your main reason is not to make financial gain rather than punishing companies????

    Do you work for love film???

    If you don't like it, then don't get involved.

    Let it go! Move on with your life and you can live peacefully knowing that you never have or will break the law in some way, lie, deceive, upset someone, or do something you later regret! oh wait, thats not going to happen is it!
  • thanks great and nice one
