Yesterday I went to make a routine DD to PP from Lloyds, but was annoyed at the reappearance of a problem I thought I
had resolved 4 months ago on this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5450495

I tried again this evening but got a different error message (below). This thread is both a warning and a request for a remedy.

I'd guess that the Kernel wants to add a Lloyds account to his PP profile and have the DD taken from there.

It involved a huge amount of hassle with CS who said it would be resolved by such-and-such a time but wasn't.

Could it be that you can only request one DD payment everyday/every few days?

Thanks, I was unaware of that thread. It's not the reason though, yesterday's was the first request I've made in August. Will Club Lloyds accept two DDs from different Tesco accounts?

I had exactly the same issues at the end of July, though the error messages were in the reverse order:cool:

I can't say whether they will accept DDs from different Tesco accounts but don't see why they wouldn't:cool:

I've just tried but Tesco shifted my requested date to the first available...1st September

When you made your 7th/successful attempt on the 27th July, was this at a different time of day, or did you approach the transaction in a slightly different way?

For Lloyds, Halifax and BoS, DDs being debited on 1st Sept will be ok if you're looking at getting the interest/£5 reward for the month of August.
