Address on DL and V5C

Does this address have to be my current address or just an address I can be contacted at? I just put a deposit down on a new car, but plan to travel a lot over the next 12 months and may move out of my flat.
Can I just have my parents address on both the DL and V5C?
My car insurance is where the car is going to be stored (my flat).

Contactable address.
It's the insurance address that tends to be the one that wants your living address as that's the one where the car is normally parked up overnight (even then if where you park the car overnight is different to where you live you'd give the car's normal parking address when asked).0
