I don't know what i've done. Its genuinely very irritating.
For one hour I have hoards of people running up and down about a foot away from my window, its noisy and very distracting. They don't run quietly either there is lots of motivational yelling going on.
I think it is very inconsiderate.
I think its great.0 -
Would it make any difference if they weren't fat/women?Thinking critically since 1996....0

Well YOU decided to live in a house with no front yard(strange term for the UK), on a PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY.
If you find it irritating you must have little going on in your life.
Get up go out and cheer them on.0 -

Nope, a normal group of people running past would also annoy me!0 -
stand at your window, curtains open, naked, with a pair of binoculars in your hand, staring at them.
They may change their route.0 -

Until January 1st.
In all seriousness, if we take the OP's post at face value it is quite odd. I coach for a running club and we often run up and down hilly streets, but not the same street continuously for an hour. I would genuinely be sensitive of annoying the residents if we did that, and more importantly, it would be really really boring.
The OP could consider sending an email to the organisers to suggest that as much as he enjoys the sight of athletes getting their exercise outside his window, perhaps the ladies might get a bit bored of the same street every week for a whole hour and maybe they could exercise on some other streets to shake it up a bit. (Simple physics tells us there will be at least one equally good slope to exercise on in the vicinity.)
If it is not the street they are exercising in but a public park outside the OP's house (which is far more likely) then it is tough sugar. If you buy a house right next to parkland then presumably it's because you enjoy having the natural ambience of a park outside your window. Parks are for people to exercise in and the noise they make is part of that ambience, like dogs barking and children shrieking.0 -
