    thanks for all the help.

I have managed to get it held for another week which will be enough time to get the car sold (something i was going to do anyway but wasn't in a rush to do) and to get paid.

Hopefully that will be the end of it as I am moving to Taiwan in Jan and want to leave all loose ends tied.

    Thanks again

Yeh the bailiff said it wouldn't be an issue. I guess he either cancelled the order or it never meant anything in the first place. I'll be selling it to a breakers anyway, will get me about 400 quid. I explained to them if they took it away for auction, they would be lucky to get scrap value, if a sale at all, and then they wouldn't get any money because they wont be getting in my house and I won't be back in the UK until statute of limitations kicks in. He was happy to agree and for me to sell the car and cover the rest with my own cash.
