Wrong delivery

Comments

  • Again, thank you for your replies and comments. I agree that they are not ‘unsolicited goods’, it is simply a case of a delivery in error. I have not disputed that I am not entitled to keep the goods (unless the supplier actually cedes ownership to me as was the case with Gers). My issue is that this incorrect delivery, but perhaps more specifically the supplier’s inability to quickly resolve the issue by collecting them even after a comedic exchange of e-mails, has caused me wasted time and probably actual cost.

Anyway, there has been a resolution. Having contacted the company secretary they have, to their credit, agreed the compensation that I requested (which was around half the value of the goods) and asked for a time to collect the goods.
