Do I need fibre?

After hours of ringing around Vodafone are looking the cheapest to me for fibre, and unlimited calls to landlines and mobiles at £30 per month, even my current provider can't beat it.
However my current Internet is around 5mbs, and on this this we watch Netflix etc, sometimes 3 or 4 of us on the Internet at once, it seems fine but we don't always get HD, I download music and that's about it, is fibre worth the extra £10 or so that I'll be paying?

If you have 3 or 4 users online simultaenously then yes, an upgrade from 5mbps would seem worth while.0

4 or 5 on the net at once browsing web pages then 0.5mb will be fast enough.
Not in HD? Youtube? Even on Fibre you get that. The other day i had a video play at less than 640, brought back memories.
And thats on a 73MB connection, its not your connection its youtube.
Netflix maybe the same, maybe that file or the connection to that file is slow for some reason?
Ive had several users and even run an FTP server on a 0.5mb connection.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

I think you have all the facts to answer that yourself.
From what you have said, it doesn't sound like you need fibre (at this time) if it works with 4 of you.0 -
We cope fine on Sky unlimited broadband. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Iplayer etc
Unless you experience download problems don't bother paying more.0
