I know the advice seems to be leave it for 20 days but I always like to try and get these things off my mind sooner if possible.
Best way to get it cancelled is not via the PPC (that'll never happen), but the management company who employed them. That's why the AST is important, and the lease is also useful if you can get hold of it. It's quite possible your GF's sister has unfettered rights to that space. If so, the management company needs telling this in very clear, blunt terms such that they must get the goons off her back. The management companies always try to deny responsibility and pass the buck, which is why you must be very direct, to the point of threats and ultimatums. You mustn't care about being on their "good side", as their contempt for the residents they are meant to represent is usually legendary.0 -

Hi, So its coming up to 56 days since I received my three PCN's. I appealed all on the p4 parking online system and haven't heard a dicky bird from them
A couple of days ago I received the letter attached from TNC. Its only for one of the PNCs so far but theres still a couple of days for them to send the letters for the other two and be within 56 days.
What do I need to do at this stage? Do I resend my appeal by post using the original appeal letter I sent online?
thanks in advance

From my understanding of the newbie thread, P4 Parking have to send out a NTK within 57 days for each ticket i've received even though I have responded to them with an appeal as the keeper including my name and address in the appeal?
This is that NTK? are they allowed to send it out under some other company name? Or must it come directly from P4parking?0 -
My starting point would be what the lease for the gf says. If there are no mentions of parking permits etc. in the lease then it is up to the gf what she does with her space and signs are irrelevant. She has the right to the space, she can assign it to who she wants and popping signs up in the space are irrelevant. Legally, assuming she has the right to the space, then she has given you a verbal contract to allow you to use her space. A third party cannot arbitrarily force you into a contract.
So, get gf to get her lease out and tell us exactly what it says about the parking space.
Assuming the lease does not specify that the car parking space is only provided on strict conditions then you go in hard, write denying the invoices and insist that regardless of permits being displayed, if further tickets are applied this will be viewed as harassment which is a criminal offence. Also, any further correspondence aside from that acknowledging and cancelling invalid invoices will incur a £50 handling charge per item.
Also, if the landlord has not given any terms in writing, just said "That's your space, then the gf has a verbal contract which is just as good as it means that you can depend on that agreement.0 -
Shes actually moved out of the property now and there was no mention of the space on the Tenancy agreement . I've already submitted the appeals and I think there is enough non compliant signage etc to stand up.
I'm more looking for advice on what to do now I've received the NTK from a different company to P4parking. (see letter a couple of posts up)0 -
Re-send the appeals to TNC (a debt collector who do the back office stuff, NTKs for P4P).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
