UPDATE -
Hi, So its coming up to 56 days since I received my three PCN's. I appealed all on the p4 parking online system and haven't heard a dicky bird from them
A couple of days ago I received the letter attached from TNC. Its only for one of the PNCs so far but theres still a couple of days for them to send the letters for the other two and be within 56 days.
What do I need to do at this stage? Do I resend my appeal by post using the original appeal letter I sent online?
thanks in advance

Sorry to join and immediately start another PCN Thread.
I've recently successfully got off one completely unrelated PCN by sending a letter as the Keeper flat out refusing to pay and giving some pretty good sign and land ownership related reasons.
I'm a little less sure how to deal with this one though. I've read through the sticky and although I have no intentions of paying these Phoney invoices there are three of them and if for some reason I did fail all appeals i'd rather be faced with £180 than £300 so is replying in 14 days a valid option?
The Story...
I've just bought a new car and for me its kind of fancy so I wanted to keep it somewhere safe for a few days until I could get it to where I would usually keep it. My Girlfriends Sister offered her secure underground parking space which she has use of with her flat.
Obviously I accepted the offer and we parked it up in her designated space last Sunday. Stupidly I didn't even think about permits/signs etc because it wasn't on my mind (i'm usually hot on this as I hate paying for parking)
We went back to collect the car on Friday and not one but three sticky invoices had been adhered to the windscreen.
We have a permit we could have used, my Girlfriends sister found it after we got the tickets. I'm assuming this will fall on deaf ears with the cowboys though.
Should I just ignore for 24 days like advised in the sticky or Send out a letter within the 14days as the keeper declining the invoices for the reasons -
I never saw the signs so no contract was drawn
The parking bays are free so the invoice isn't justified
Plus
Ask for contract with landowner.
I'm also a little unsure how the 'rules' stand with multiple tickets over 3 days when there isn't any sort of time frame mentioned on the signage?
Lastly There seems to be a P4parking limited registered in Glasgow and a P4parking (UK) ltd registered in London on companies house. P4parking (UK) ltd is the company registered with the BPA. All signage and PCN's only refers to P4Parking not Parking (uk) ltd . It this a technicality that has any kind of legs?
Thanks in advance

Also attached is a pic of the signage. Its outdated because it says you may be issued with a PCN if your vehicle isn't displaying valid road tax.

Could you name a few for me? Would be greatly appreciated :beer:0

lastly does the fact that they have just put N/A in the period of parking from and too render the PCN invalid?

- Signage is prohibitive, i.e. if you don't have a permit, you can't park.
- That makes it a matter of trespass only, which a PPC isn't in a position to pursue (only the landowner can do that)
- It also means they can't pretend to be offering a contract to do something (park without a permit) which is not allowed
- They say a charge "may" be applied in certian circumstances. A contract can't be so woolly in its terminology
What are the Estate's Parking Regulations that P4P allude to?0 -

@OP, does your GF's sister rent or own the flat? What does her AST (tenancy)/lease say about parking? A numbered, designates parking spot is often part of the property itself, making the PPC's intrusion on it a trespass in itself.
She is renting but I have a feeling from looking at flats for sale in the complex that they are owned by the property owner. I'm getting hold of the agreement to see if there is anything mentioned.
From my reading of Schedule 4 paragraph 7 of the PoFA it seems that without having a valid time of contravention the tickets are pretty much void anyway?0 -

The_Slithy_Tove wrote: »Not void. They are still invoices for the driver. P4P don't know who the driver was, and you're not going to tell them. POFA non-compliance means they cannot hold the keeper liable - that's all.
OK Thanks so Whats the best form of attack?
I know the advice seems to be leave it for 20 days but I always like to try and get these things off my mind sooner if possible.0
