Hello
All those bidders on Ebay who win an auction and don't pay up are a bunch of ARSEH-LES.
:rotfl:

Have you opened a NPB case though? Too many sellers do not and thats the real problem.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

Yes I did, and Ebay are useless.
Ebay wont do anything to the non payers.
Usually the morons bid on an item without reading the listing, and when they win, they read the listing properly & decide they don't want the item, and so wont pay up.
Basically we need to give the morons a big SLAP, but there is no way to do that.0 -
Yes, but it doesn't really help me (or any other seller) in the very immediate short term.
My auction, time and effort has been completely ruined by some moron.
I want immediate action.
Ebay should force them to pay up.
or as suggested, they need a SLAP0 -

It does help though as a seller can have settings that block any bidder who has 2 or more strikes in a 1 year period. Therefore any bidder who does this routinely would just basically be banning themselves from ebay.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. i've never been able to find those settings.
Please advice

Go through your seller preferences and set them up properly. A lot of the original ebay issues with buyers registering and bidding then opening new accounts can be limited by them having a credit card registered.
NPB strikes is also useful but never been an issue for me.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Hopefully this link works http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BuyerBlockPreferences
and there is no way they can force people to pay, they can't magically move the money from their bank account. What they can do is block buyers who often don't pay, so reporting them is the best thing, I think in addition to the block preferences sellers can set there is a limit where if you get an excessive number of unpaid item strikes then eBay will prevent you from buying.0 -
Not just for the strikes but you get your fvf back.
It is frustrating - my blocked buyers list is growing

eBay used to have a fixed 3/4 strikes and you were out, this has now moved into a logarithm that works on the number of items bought, plus the history of the buyer v the number of strikes. No one has any clear idea what the number is.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
