  • Yes I'm focusing on the £2900 ish one. It's really easy to make payments on the app so I'm doing a fiver here and there when I have an ebay sale.
The £9k is in my husbands name so hoping he will have more luck than me as he earns a lot.
Sarah do you know which DFW challenge would be good to join? I want quite an active one with lots of posts each day and a mixture of earning money and being frugal. There seems to be so many plus the frugal living ones on the OS MS boards.

Sounds like a good plan. Is your hubby on board with the budgeting and paying off debts? Do you manage your finances seperately? Sorry if I have asked this already.
I don't follow any myself so can't help I'm afraid. I have hard enough time keeping up with all the diaries I follow tbh.

  • Yeah everything is joint and we are on the same page, he is excellent at money saving. Our debt is from house renovations and car purchases, we're good with day to day spending but very much 'buy now pay later' with these very large purchases!
  • Ahhh OK it's good your on same page with your spending. Hopefully any future purchases you will be able to save up for.

  • £7 payment made today so debt 3 slipped into the 2700s. Always nice to go down into the next hundred.
Stressing myself out trying to find things to sell, need to relax a bit about it and not let long to do lists spoil weekends and half term
  • Well I achieved my goal of not stressing about trying to find things to sell. We had such a thorough clear out in Jan and sold quite a few bits. I was beating myself up at not being able to find anything else and writing long, unattainable to do lists. So I have chilled out a little and accepted that for the time being I have listed all I can.

Trying to get up to £5 cash out on swag bucks, I don't really understand how people make money on there, I can only get about 5sb a day!
I signed up to some market research companies but so far I've been screened out of invites as I've done one in the past 6 months.
£6.95 overpayment made today. Itching for some DDs to come out so we go under £15,000.
  • Gone into the 14s! Very pleased about this.
Today's announcement has left me feeling quite confused. I don't understand how such specific dates were given and I just don't believe it after all the cancelled plans in the last year. I'm also worried we'll spend a lot of money when we can go back to normal as I'm so desperate to go out and do stuff!
  • They are dates to aim for now specific dates. If the levels start to rise again we will stay at the level for longer. I'm just waiting and seeing and not making any plans tbh

  • Yes we're not making plans, as much as I would love to book a holiday! I'm really hoping we can go away somewhere this year. I find it very hard not to be able to plan.
