Just to give you an update. She has paid the notice plus the charges despite anything I've told her. Those scumbags have won.

There is a template complaint letter linked in that thread, provided by the BMPA. USe or adapt it and tell Mrs May/Mr Corbyn, the DCLG and your local MP, what has happened. This is wrong, tell them how this made her feel and that she was so scared she paid a huge amount she cannot afford. Parking firms have no such thing as a customer service ethic and the lot you have there are ex-clampers I believe, now ticketing and intimidating people with the threat of credit clamping instead.

A horrible situation which should be crushed by Government intervention asap. Send a covering letter with copies of all these letters so they land with a thump on the desks at the DCLG, your MP and Mrs May's advisers. You could write it in joint names, signed by you and your gf, telling them your story.

There is also a Daily Mail journalist's email address in that thread, he wants stories about people credit clamped and threatened by ex-clampers into paying extortionate amounts.

can yoyu also please inform her that the forum has a legal clause that states that we can claim back time spent on wasted cases ...


this is set out in legislation .... read the waste of time act 2013 ....

we are now able to charge her £1000 .... however this can be reduced to £500 if she pays promptly!

if not then we will re post in LARGE RED FONT replies .... and that mean that the legal penalty will go up by any amount we choose !
