At present, it's still possible to get a lot more than 2.2% for £10K in instant access current accounts + regular savers. And without going anywhere near Santander, too.

This is just to confirm the invitation codes do eventually appear and the account set up is simple enough.

But please be aware, at the moment, you will have to use Apple products (minimum IOS 8.0) as Android / Windows apps are not released yet.

So, have you actually opened a fixed term account with Atom and transferred money in?

I've just received my invite, I'm looking to invest tomorrow. I've had a look around, but this seems like a good rate for the money. You mention that there are better accounts around for the money, would you mind passing this on so I could have a look and see if it's any use to me (and for others)?
    Many thanks

"We currently have no intention to provide access to our banking services via a website."

"Eventually we intend to release a Windows version that’ll work across all phones and computers that use their operating system."

Oh well, can't do it then.

    See from 11 minutes in.

Hopefully, the App doesn't go through the SMS mechanism.

These are the accounts that have been mentioned every day for the past several years, and have articles on the main site, and threads on here dedicated to them, yet while you managed to find a brand new bank, you've missed these?

  • I'd seen that already and have many of the accounts, it just sounded like there was something I'd missed. It may need updating again shortly as Santander have just halved their interest. At least the atom interest rate is fixed for 2 years?

they are hardly going to compete against the big boys, limiting it to £10k'
If it was £60k, I would look at it.
so would a lot of other 123 leavers.
obviously don't want the money or customers.
  • No I know, I don't know why it's limited to just £10k? I thought they'd be happy to get as much in as possible. Still they might change that in the near future.

if it was more than £10k, as other fixed rates today, it would be closed now, and rate reduced.
    that's why it's 2%>2.2%.
1.8% is the best I can find for 3 years with Shawbrook, or 2.2% for 5 years.
Unfortunately, I'm totally fully subscribed up to my £75k with them, so, it's slim pickings elsewhere.:(
