    Hi,

    All it says is Parking Charge Notice at ... on... 'in accordance with the parking terms and conditions clearly stated on the signage' with photographic evidence and times.

    Does this help?

    As Fruitcake says above

    Was this for an overstay, parking without a marked bay, parking in a disabled bay, not paying/paying enough in a P& D car park, or any other reason?

    Hi Fruitcake,

    It doesn't say anything other than in accordance with the parking T&C's stated on signage.

    None of the reasons you have specified

    forget the ticket and what it says, it's what you were doing to attract a ticket

    There is no P&D so can't be for not paying enough or overstaying, no windscreen PCN. Disabled bay - possibly?
    Notice stipulates less than an hours parking.
    I'm at a loss as to what has been done so I need to check the area out

    small print on page 10027 of their terms and conditions states that red cars can be issued with a ticket on thusday afternoons

    is your car red , was it Thursday or did you break another condition , in fact what caused them to issue a ticket

    if you are sticking to the "terms and conditions" rubbish , please photograph this magical sign and we can read all the terms

    Disabled bay maybe ?

    Best you take a photo or scan of the ticket and upload to a site like photobucket

    paste the link here and use hxxp:/
    You are new so cannot post a working link, someone here will make it live.
    Go and and take pictures of the car park entrance, the signs and the signs displayed in the car park.

    By doing this, do not get another ticket

    go back to the location and take a photo of the sign , or write down the wording , we want to see what the terms and conditions of the site are

    then we can go thru them and see which one you have "supposedly" broken

  • Hi,

    I thought I would post a success story on here for support. I challenged a ticket received from civil enforcement for going 40seconds over the parking time.
    Wrote a letter last week with copy of statement that showed I had paid up to 8pm and left car park at 8pm and 40seconds. Received a letter this morning saying they cancelled the charge :).

    What he is trying to say is:

    If you have no idea what rule, or silly offence you have broken, their notice to keeper must fail in complience to both the BPA COP, and Schedule 4 of POFA 2012:

    The notice must—

    (a)specify the vehicle, the relevant land on which it was parked and the period of parking to which the notice relates;

    (b)inform the driver of the requirement to pay parking charges in respect of the specified period of parking and describe those charges, the circumstances in which the requirement arose (including the means by which it was brought to the attention of drivers) and the other facts that made those charges payable;

    How could you possibly put in a defence if you don't know what you are supposed to have done, just saying you didn't park within out terms and conditions is just not good enough, and would in my view be a good point at POPLA.

    Dont't be misled by the above post and use wording like I parked i didn't see etc.
