Hi I would say your lunch could only be two portions at most, as a portion of veg is 80 grams
Hi gilly, yes, my portions are around 80g each.- 80g iceberg lettuce (around a quarter head; ~11 cals)
- two medium vine tomatoes or 7 cherry ones (~14 cals)
- a two inch portion of cucumber (~13cals)
- half a tin of lidl sweetcorn (apporx 70g drained weight so I count the 10g spring onions in to make up that portion = ~80cals)
- a grated carrot well in excess of 80g (~40cals).
- I also sprinkle 28g pine nuts over (~190cals) and dress it with
- vinaigrette (~120cals)
That's what I'm just about to have for lunch now, as it happens.
I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

was tempted to have beans on toast for supper as was very, very lazy. However, REALLY wanted broccoli. So steamed some broccoli, broad beans and sweetcorn (3) to have with left over roast BNS (4) and peppers, onion, carrot and courgette (5).
Lunch was reheated (frozen) lamb stir-fry (7)
Added to breakfast that gives me 9 veg and 1 fruit.0 -
Salad as mentioned for lunch (5); poached fish and kale salad (2) for dinner.
Total 7:0
I very freakishly dislocated my knee joint over three months ago (yes, my knee joint, not my kneecap). As it is now healing away nicely I need to start back on a 5:2 diet. I have become shockingly deconditioned over the past few months, so time to get in shape for Christmas*. I went clothes shopping yesterday for an event next week, and while I'm the same size, my shape has sort of melted a bit
. Not good.
*notice I'm not specifying which Christmas:rotfl:I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

Yesterday was 0:4; today 0:3.5 but in the positive side none of the fruit was particularly sweet, nor did I eat much else.
Back home now, I've got a fridge full of veg that I'll start to demolish from tomorrow.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
