Wasps nest found on property we're buying - is seller responsible for sorting?

Of all the concerns raised by buyers on this forum, this is the bees knees!
If that's the extent of your concerns, you're good to go!
lol! well thank you very much!
We have never encountered the problem before and with 2 toddlers whose bedroom windows will open directly onto the area where the nest is, it is something we would rather get sorted before moving in than have to worry about. We have never had to call in anyone to do this kind of job so I had no idea it was so cheap.
Hopefully this IS all we have to worry about fingers crossed for the survey on Wednesday!0 -

The wasps haven't just built that nest in the last couple of weeks.0 -

Do us a favour and add it to this thread rather than start a new one, so we can see the full context.0 -
What matters about a wasp nest is the flight path. There will be a well established route that they use and if it doesn't interfere with the routes humans use, they won't be any bother.
This might help in this regard

Surely it's not vacant possession if the wasps haven't been evicted?0

We moved in to discover what must be the biggest was nest in Hampshire in our garden, a couple of weeks ago (wasps+decking=metropolis). I walk through the winged thoroughfare every day, but they've yet to sting anyone.*
*Except the mother-in-law; which has only made the wasps more endearing.0 -
Well, I wouldn't go stinging the wasps with a rent increase...0

I have a wasps' nest in my porch. The wasps are about 6-10 inches from the top of my head, and I go through the door 6 times a day.
We leave each other alone. We have not hurt each other.
My 2 year old neice has been a similar distance away when she was held by my sister in the porch.
They left each other alone too.
Leave them alone, they will likely not do you any harm.
And certainly nothing to fret over regarding a house purchase.0 -
