Wow that is a longgggggggg day!
Yeah please don't die in the name of frugality that might be a tad too far
My mum just cancelled her phone & internet recently & they are charging her 31.00 to leave  it is shocking how they can do that.

Hopefully I can finish it whilst watching The Man in The High Castle tonight
I've just seen that you've got a diary, so that's also on my reading list for this evening

£2.80 spent on a skinny iced latte. I have no regrets about this because a) it was delicious b) I've had a bloody toilsome week, and c) the 80 calories or so I drank in it stopped me snacking on anything at all during the afternoon, when I usually would have consumed way more than 80 cals.
Non-money wise, I was completely out of it this morning in more ways than one (got to love the female reproductive system) so didn't go to the gym. I'm training for a 10k at the minute, and Friday is usually my Long Run, so going to have to make that up tomorrow. It's not all bad though, as the weather tomorrow looks shocking, and I don't like running Parkrun in the rain

Och you deserve a wee treat & 2.80 isn't bad at all.
Well done on not snacking, I find it so hard not to snack!
Think the weather is gonna be bad all weekend :-(

I know
I've gotten used to being able to dry all the washing outside in one go at the weekend recently - that's so not happening this weekend! It's been feeling more and more autumnal this week! Overdraft: [STRIKE]£715[/STRIKE] £220

Run done - was dreading it, but it was fine in the end. Though I did find out that I need new headphones - kept cutting out for half a second every couple of minutes, and as I listen to audio books on long runs, that can be v. annoying - will look for some good value ones on Pr!me so I have them for Monday.Overdraft: [STRIKE]£715[/STRIKE] £220

Headphone hunt was successful - found some that looked legit on Am@zon, then had a look to see if they were cheaper anywhere else and J0hn Lew1s had them at over 50% off :money:
Haven't spent anything else this weekend, just been doing boring DIY house jobs
Planned spends for this coming week:
£6 on a 3 pack of tights (this is getting rather urgent now - I seem to- have a freakishly sharp big toe on my left foot, as all my tights develop holes there)
- £1.89 on yarn - I need another ball of my edging yarn to finish this sodding crochet blanket.
- £X on fruit for work - no more than £3 I guess
By my current standing, I'm not set to knock off that much of my overdraft this month, maybe £45 tops, due to cancelling a number of insurance policies with break clauses and spending prior to my LBM (namely 2 x 10k race entries that probably totalled £55, but one of those is a charity race).
i also need to buy a nice card for a former colleague who is leaving the organisation - I'm totally not a card person - to me it's a nice sentiment, but it'll just get recycled in a few weeks time, but she is, and she's a good friend, so I'll put my own feelings aside

Planned spends done, and I now have £3.20 in my purse to last until next Wednesday  Old me would have just assumed this was impossible and withdrawn some more money, but I'm determined to do this! Going to scour the OS board tonight for snack recipes that I can make, as that's my biggest downfall.Overdraft: [STRIKE]£715[/STRIKE] £220
