Is the driver expecting they are not too blame :rotfl:
But they will find out at renewal time it was not worth it.
Problem is now your father in law would also have to inform his insurance, I think, anyone confirm?
I spoke to them on FIL behalf, they were determined to go through insurance so I've had to report it to FILs insurance... premiums up all round methinks.
Do they think they're not to blame? Who knows, we never got that far...Always try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!0 -

I beleive it will be 50/50 but seems the other party does not, I also have a feeling they are going to deny reversing out and were stationary at the time.
I know people like to park close to stores out of pure laziness but this :rotfl:0 -

If there are no witnesses and they have no proof (e.g. a dash cam showing they were stationary) then they can claim what they like, it'll come down to who is more believable and then will go 50/50. Even if it was against the FIL their insurance will go up anyway so more fool themSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Does the car park operate a 1 way traffic flow system, if so was 1 of them reversing out of the parking space to proceed against the 1 way flow of traffic.
No it's not one way. I haven't seen the damage to the other car but I'm assured it's minimal, a slight dent.
As far as I can see it's a case of both not paying enough attention, they're both as bad as each other.Always try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!0
