It is official, I have had the written confirmation, now I have to rejig budgets as I have a deficit, and 3 pairs of trainers and 3 pairs of school shoes to buy before the end of the month. Luckily, with the 3 day weekend, payday is on Friday next week. Sadly I am the better part of £75 down on my planned budget .I am going to have to brave the place called Leicester City Centre (shudder!) - I think I need to do it sooner than later or I am going to blow it into a bigger thing than it is going to be. I still have to get 3 haircuts (even bigger shudder!).I think I have pulled a muscle in my chest. I woke up this morning and just could not breathe in for more than a count of 2 without the most awful stabbing pain, so after i decided I was not having a heart attack, I got up and dressed and had to lie down again as the pain was not bearable. Told dh, who manfully said 'oh!' and went back to slee p again. Anyway, after about an hour of stretching and wiggling and trying not to panic, I managed to be able to breathe a little bit more, so made it downstairs where I am on the sofa, on paracetamol, with a hot water bottle on my chest. It is less painful when I am lying down. But still, I can't spend the day on my back! I still can't take a proper deep breath, but at least I can now breathe and move at the same time.Must have strained something loading the f/b van yesterday. That'll teach me! Heavy boxes.I have drowned under school emails today. So many letters, so many new rules, so much information x 4 . oh well - they have to start somewhere. On the plus side, it is another NSD.On the slightly minus side there is a vegan burger takeaway place opening up next week which is literally a 2 minute slow walk from the front door. The kids are ridiculously excited. It might turn into a 'payday treat' once a month.Right, supper won't prep itself.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Would it not be best to skip the run tomorrow and give yourself time to heal?Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

If I can sort my breathing I will be fine. Not going to be lifting anything heavier than a cup of tea until Monday though.

Ouch! Sounds painful F0xh0les, do be careful, definitely give the running a little break til you feel better...btw I've been running with something i suspect is torn around my hip for months (obv not badly but doesn't really seem to be healing much) so I'm great at giving advise but not so much taking it.
Good luck with the trip to the city centre. I know its obv different for your area but I found the less I went out, the more I was worried about going...then spent a further week worrying everytime i so much as coughed. It was only by actually going out that it wasn't such a worry. Not to say i go into town or pop to the shops like I used to, i dont, rarely 'pop' anywhere now for anything, it's a planned trip to get as much done as i have to at once but largely that's due to the rigmarole of possible queues, people glaring if you are in so much as 20ft of them, getting showered with sanitiser everywhere and the less said about masks the better. Somewhat takes the enjoyment factor out of shopping.
What is the vegan burger place? Sounds fab.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I am gaining the weight you are loosing.
We were exactly the same weight a while ago, and I've gained 3 pounds. You are really inspiring me to run, must hunt out the awful lycra, and force myself out of the door. I am not a human pizza slice, more like a potato. Pizza sounds yummier. This is my problem, always thinking of food!
I somehow forgot about school shoes and have them to purchase too, not looking forward to braving the shops with the kids. I cut short the picnic at the nature reserve the other day, so goodness knows how I will handle shopping. I popped out tonight to shop and it seems half the people in my town have had enough of their masks.
I love that DH loved his new chairs, would love to know how you get on with the boxes.
Great news on the opening of the outdoor pools. I wonder who will get their hand slapping for the zero research prior to the announcement. Muppets.Mortgage-free wannabe!
