Feedback left for a seller - removed by ebay agent?

IMO, eBay isn't in a bad state. And that's the reason why eBay is in the state it is.....
Yes, there are a few dodgy buyers and sellers but in the main the majority of users are decent, honest people.
In the past couple of years I've bought 225 items and sold 59 and in that time I've only had 2 INR's for items that I purchased and both sellers refunded me in full without the need for a dispute.
The problem with forums such as this is that people post whenever they have a problem but only a tiny minority post when the transactions goes without a hitch and this gives a skewed idea of how good or bad eBay actually is.0 -

It was a mistake
Either contact them to get it put right or get over it.
Not many other choices
Why do you need to know what other people did or guess on the likelihood of it being sorted?
Just get on with it either way.0 -
Ebay have removed the feedback i left for the seller by mistake - instead of removing the false positive the seller left for me - the agent accidentally removed the feedback id left.
The email i received from ebay clearly stated that i cannot leave buyers a false positive feedback - now since im the buyer this is a clear error on their part.
This isn't a case of me using words that are banned or against ebays policies - it's about the numpty ebay agent removing the wrong feedback comment. The comment they should have removed was the one on my account left by the seller.
It's certainly interesting that you said the word 'avoid' is banned or forbidden from being placed in feedback comments. I, as a buyer have only had to leave 4 negative comments in my lifetime of buying on ebay (7yrs) - looking back, ALL of those feedback comments are still present and all have the word AVOID in them?
ahh okay, well I am just repeating what the eBay agent told me on the phone at the time
i don't make eBay policy.... "No one can change the past. The only thing we can do is strive to make up for our mistakes. Why must we make up for our mistakes, you ask? Because in so doing...we can find the way back to our path. And once we've found our path we can move on from our past mistakes toward a brighter future"
