                      Hello all,

I am looking for some advice with my Sky package and adding multiroom.

At the moment we subscribe to Sky plus HD (Sports, Movies and entertainment) and have a single box. We are looking to add a box to another room where there is already a cable running from the Sky dish.

A friend of ours has kindly given us a Sky plus HD box and I am looking to find out if I can just purchase a viewing card and then start paying the additional £12 per month for multiroom? Would this work? If so where do I buy the viewing card from as I cannot see any information online.

Thanks very much

yes , just ring up and get sky to send a card (or use online chat) , it comes with full instructions on how to twin it with the box from your friendEx forum ambassador

Do note that Sky+ won't work correctly unless their are two leads from the satellite dish to the other room. You'll still be able to view and record, but only one channel at a time.[ We are looking to add a box to another room where there is already a cable running from the Sky dish.A friend of ours has kindly given us a Sky plus HD box and I am looking to find out if I can just purchase a viewing card and then start paying the additional £12 per month for multiroom?
